Didn’t think we could make it any more clearer than making a post about it. NO this blog isn’t connected to any other website/blog/board/anything on the internet. Anyone who says they are is not only a LIAR but also CRAZY AS HELL!
Really glad you cleared that up. (Seriously) That blog has been around a while and it was painfully obvious it wasn’t written by baseball wives.
The OntheDl gals seem to have gotten themselves in a heap of trouble. Glad you aren’t part of that.

I’ve never read that blog, Lyle so I don’t know what it’s about. But I know and have been around a lot of wives and I can say without a doubt that they would never make posts about groupies on a public website. Anyone who has ever been in any kind of baseball circle should be able to see thru something like that.
Shame, I don’t know Vivien at all. Have never spoken to her that I know of and I don’t know who Teksgirl is or what the story is on her.
I don’t know about the OTDL girls being in any trouble but I honestly don’t see them being involved with that site either. OTDL was a great blog and the main inspiration behind this site…but NONE of us were ever at any time contributors in any way to that site. Like I said before, if we were it would be dumb to make another site when that one was already well established.

All the posts on the fake wives blog were taken down as was the latest post on the OntheDl blog. The same people run/ran both those blogs and they’re finally getting in trouble for making stuff up.
As long as you aren’t outright lying about someone, this blog won’t have any problems.
I think you’re ALL full of garbage. I hope no one believes anyone here- in this circle, everyone knows everyone. There’s no chance they are not all somehow connected. Seriousy, folks. Give your head a shake. Maybe it will all make sense, then.

Summer, you’re the one who needs to give your head a shake. What reason would we POSSIBLY HAVE to make 3 separate websites? NONE. It doesn’t even make a little sense.
I’m just as confused and pissed off as hell. I never insinuated to be a “wife”, I always told the truth, I have a good friend who’s brother played in the ML for many years, I have always been a fan and I have experienced groupies first hand. It nausiates me to even think the same people ran the supposed wives board, how low can you get? In the end it’s wise to just stay away from these board/blogs or whatever. I stumbled across them and was quite intrigued, however I remain true to my thoughts that real life mistresses have more cuth and would never run their mouths about who they sleep with on the internet. Sluts, however will, so you do the math.
I never made it over to OTDL or the wives board, at least not the part that wasn’t totally public and that one didn’t need to register for, and I guess now I’m glad. My non-groupie but very curious self would still love to know where the real dirt is.
I think the basic theory is “all three boards are connected” meaning OTDL, Groupies Suck (supposedly the wives board) and this site……..I honestly don’t know IF this is entirely true as this site indicates. I was banned from OTDL for no reason and like I said I’m NO groupie nor am I a wife, just curious, a friend and a big fan of the game. It annoys me greatly when I read dirt that is NOT true about people I know and care about. That has been my forum for being dragged into these boards but it clearly shows me how childish and nasty dilusional people can be. I have read the blogs, boards and even the fan fictions and man, it does give female fans a bad name.
I like this place best. It seems to be accurate tho a little late on stuff.

What was the entry that was deleted from OTDL? I remember one titled “I bet you thought we’d never post another blind item” but I don’t remember if it was the latest entry or not.
I’m just wondering why the wives board closed? It seems like it was kind of slow to catch on, there wasnt alot of info being posted, but I checked it once a week, and there were posters. So why did it suddenly shut down, and shut down so violently? Oh well. For the record, I dont think the site admins from onthedl or here had anything to do with the wives board, maybe it was just a disgruntled / banned poster from one of these other sites running it. Its just weird how they closed it down so suddenly. And closed it down as if all us members were in on some big joke or secret plot, when clearly it left alot of people really confused.
how stupid is ON the DL? Half their shit was made up and posters were dillusional wanna be groupies which is even worse than real groupies. this is my first tiem reading this site but the admin’s seem alot better and more intelligent than the girls who ran OTDL. glad they finally got what they deserved!
