The short version: Side piece of playa 1 gets fed up with his playa ways and shuts him down once and for all. Two weeks later he sees her in the tunnel after a getaway game and thinks she is there for him and as he approaches her she walks by him and straight into the arms of one of his teammates. I kid you not. I hear the look on his face was priceless.

Actually yes, there are several faithful ballplayers. Just going by the teams we know I’d say it’s about 50/50 between the faithful and the ones who have no business being married.
I’d wager that Albert Pujols is faithful.
I heard that Brian McCann is faithful.
Agree with both of those. I know a lot of women (and men!) in baseball and I’ve never heard anything even remotely bad on AP.

If you’re gonna dish on Varitek, how about another Sox…namely Lugo. I see all kind of rumors on talk-sports, but no one ever really provides convincing details. Maybe someone here knows something?
If you get your “info” at talk-sports, you should look elsewhere. The majority of the posters over there are teenage girls trying to act like they know something.

Talk-sports is just an idle-time diversion for me. I do love player gossip, though, and would be interested to know where the REAL info is, though!
Lugo hit his exwife. She filed charges. And that’s pretty much the whole story. Who knows if it happened once or a bunch of times. The woman filed charges once though. And that’s pretty much the story.
I don’t even know the first wife’s name. I’d like to think that IF he hit her , he hit her only the one time and she immediately filed charges and got right out of the marriage. Kicked him right to the curb.
The circumstances have never come out. Did they fight a lot? Was there substance abuse? Was he or she or both of them drunk at the time? Who knows.
My biggest concern is for the current wife. My feeling is ‘once a man hits a woman, that’s it; he’ll always hit women.’ I don’t know about spousal abuse first hand or from anyone I know, thankfully. Just waht I read.

We have no idea who runs OntheDl. Why would we pay to start up a new site if we already had the OntheDl site? Doesn’t make much sense, does it? I don’t even know what the wives site is? We would never pretend to be wives…what purpose would that serve? This is the only site we contribute to. Ever.
In our blog stats there is a site called Groupies Suck that is directing people here thru a link but whoever has that site up is the crazy one. None of us know those people or have ever contributed to that site in any way, shape or form and we have no idea who Vivian is that is mentioned there.
Obviously those people have something against “groupies” so I suppose their motive is to discredit us because they think we are fucking their husbands lol. Whatever. They’re nuts. Oh and we’re definitely NOT groupies.
